During this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys have been quiet about their quarterback position.
The future of Quarterback Dak Prescott is a bit unclear right now. While many fans would like him to leave, other fans would enjoy it if he stayed.
With that said, it’s still never up to the fans, is it? The future of Prescott is being held in the hands of Owner Jerry Jones and Head Coach Mike McCarthy.
I, and many other fans, have discovered that the likelihood of Prescott getting traded or cut is very low. Especially after his award ceremony at the Super Bowl this year, where he received the Walter Payton Award.

A huge congratulations to him for this amazing achievement.
Moving on, let’s just dive into the possibility of the Cowboys’ decision to replace Dak Prescott in the quarterback position.
Who would be the new quarterback? Will they be better, or worse than Prescott? Let’s check out what other quarterbacks are on the market right now.
Derek Carr:
This man has been through it all. After taking the Las Vegas Raiders to the playoffs last year, the Raiders went 6-11 this season.
Is it Quarterback Derek Carr’s fault? I am not sure, but all I know is that Carr is looking for a team to run too quickly. Carr isn’t as elite as Prescott is and he just wouldn’t get the job done in Dallas.
Aaron Rodgers:
Ugh… Him.
Yes, Aaron Rodgers is looking for a new team. Rumor has it that he is eyeballing the Las Vegas Raiders but nothing is set in stone just yet.
I and many fans would despise having Rodgers on our team, but the possibility is still there.
It wouldn’t be a wise choice to hire him anyway. Retirement is knocking on his door after every practice and I would be surprised if he lasted more than one more year.
Max Duggan:
Here is a switch-up.
Quarterback Max Duggan is entering this year’s draft after an amazing season with TCU.
While most people wouldn’t think Duggan has a chance to be a part of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones said otherwise.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that Max Duggan has “stood out” to him among all of the QB’s at the Senior Bowl this week.
Jones said yesterday that he is committed to drafting a QB in this year’s draft.

Duggan seems to play with a lot of heart and loyalty. He is a great quarterback but just needs some more time to develop.
Seeing this young quarterback with a star on his helmet would be strange, but would be a great draft pick for the Cowboys, with or without Prescott on the team.
Overall, Prescott isn’t going anywhere (most likely) and his career will continue with another year in Dallas. Out of these three quarterbacks, I would love to see Max Duggan join the team. He has a lot of talent and would practically die for your team.
It seems that there aren’t a lot of other quarterbacks available, so the Cowboys will have to act fast on if they want a new quarterback or not. No matter what, the future is bright for the Cowboys and I can’t wait to see the team’s performance next year.
