Your Weekend Dallas Cowboys Rewatch List

If you’re like me, your weekdays are a whole lot similar to your weekends these days. At least, the place you spend both is the same.

So if you have time to kill this weekend, and $0 to spend on the newly free NFL Gamepass, you can join me in rewatching some of the best Dallas Cowboys games since 2009. Plus, the NFL recently released classic games onto the platform such as the Cowboys’ Super Bowl 27 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

There’s plenty to watch, but here is my weekend Cowboys rewatch list.

Dallas Cowboys at New Orleans Saints: Week 15, 2009

Let’s start the weekend off with an absolute classic. The 2009 Cowboys were a talented bunch coming off of an incredibly disappointing 2008 campaign. These 8-5 Cowboys were in the middle of a playoff positioning battle with the Philadelphia Eagles, who they would end up playing for the division a few weeks later.

The eventual Super Bowl champion Saints came into that game unbeaten, looking like they could potentially one-up the ’07 Patriots 16-0 season with a postseason run of their own.

Instead, Tony Romo and DeMarcus Ware led an incredible Cowboys victory, propelling them to the playoffs and later a Wild Card weekend win.

Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins: Week 16, 2013

Who could forget this one? The 7-7 Cowboys were once again knee-deep in a divisional race with the Philadelphia Eagles, needing a victory over lowly Washington to set up a winner take all week 17 affair.

Of course, the Redskins didn’t make it easy on America’s Team. In what would go down as one of the gutsiest Tony Romo performances off all time, he battled what became a season ending injury to lead a fourth quarter comeback over the Skins.

Romo’s game winner to Demarco Murray, as well as his earlier touchdown pass to Dez Bryant, still go down as two of my favorite plays orchestrated by the Cowboys quarterback ever.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants: Week 12, 2014

Yes, this is the Odell Beckham Jr. one handed catch game. But go rewatch to remind yourselves that this is really the “Tony Romo game winner to Dez Bryant” game. Down four points with just 3 minutes remaining, Romo got the ball and led yet another game winning drive over the Giants.

Easy money, per usual.

For what was an incredible 2014 regular season, this particular game is one of the most fun rewatches on the schedule. It had everything.

What games are you watching this weekend?
